It can also handle SD cards with up to 32GB of storage, which is pretty small by modern standards. Having a large screen makes it easy to preview, capture and edit your images as well as navigate the device’s menus. Measuring 4 x 5.5 x 3.5 inches, and weighing just half a pound, the Titan is small, portable and one of the lightest units we reviewed (although it's not quite as light as the Sharper Image Slide & Negative converter.) It has an impressive 4.3-inch color display screen – the largest of any unit available on the market. You can always clean up images using photo editing software afterwards, which we'd recommend for all slide scanning devices like this, regardless of what model or make they are. While you expect this with older media, the Titan did have a slight weakness here. There were some cropping issues, and a few instances of discoloration. The quality of scans is overall very good, although it did falter a little on some of the 35mm images. ![]() The Titan’s 20 megapixels is the highest of any unit in our comparison and ensures the optimal possible digitization of your cherished memories. ![]() Once your film is loaded into the device, it then uses its built-in software interpolation, which can somewhat improve an image’s quality. You can quickly feed film and slides in through their respective slots at the bottom of the device, which are each marked accordingly.
